The essential oil from wild growing trees of small size, growing on the East Australian coast (Melaleuca alternifolia) has been used by Australian aborigines as a cure for a number of diseases for thousands of years. Today the source of Tea Tree Oil (TTO) are plants growing in plantations.

Tea Tree Oil Gel for Women’s Intimate Hygiene Dr. Müller Pharma is designed for hygiene of woman's external genitals if suffering from itching, burning or dryness of intimate parts. These can occur most often in relation with therapy by antibiotics, change of water quality, use of soaps and shower gels, or in case of change of a sexual partner.
The product contains 4-terpineol, the distilled active substance of Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil). Irritating and potentially allergenic compounds are removed by distillation.
The gel can also be used as a lubricant and it is recommended before and after visiting public swimming pools.
