Tea Tree Oil
The essential oil from wild growing trees of small size, growing on the East Australian coast (Melaleuca alternifolia) has been used by Australian aborigines as a cure for a number of diseases for thousands of years. Today the source of Tea Tree Oil (TTO) are plants growing in plantations.
Its outstanding anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory effects are used in modern medicine and cosmetics.
